| SID Brush Country | Special demo Stefan Kengen that includes 3 mix: drums naked, drums processed and finally the drums in a musical context. Part 1: Here you can hear SID as it sounds when you first load it into HALion. No processing and no level changes. This is how SID sounds out of the box! Part 2: Same as Part 1, but mixed with processing. This part should be reagarded as an example of what is possible. For these first 2 demos, mostly Nuendo stock plug-ins were used, primarily Auto Gate, EQ, Reverb A and Dynamics. Some IK T-RackS compression and saturation was also used on different tracks. Part 3: Same as Part 2, but with music! This way, you can hear how SID sits in a musical context. The mix was created from a bounce (mixdown) of Part 2, and new instruments were added to this file, so the complete mix could be even better than this. |

Various Nuendo stock Reverb A, Gates and EQ's, T-RackS Comps, and Saturation. VGEE "Brit", VGE "Ultra II", SampleTank 2 Bridge Bass. ...And the the wannabee rock vocal is me ;)" |

| That Sneaky Scarbee Feeling | Slick demo by Stefan Kengen Stef says "This song features SID with BD Close Felt, Snare B, 13" HH, Toms, Ride and Cymbals, all Emperor. A LOT of EQ'ing, gating and comp'ing was used to get that hard, hi-pitched, tight sound we wanted on this tune. Scarbee RSP '73 was played through Scarbee Vintage Keyboard FX alpha and Scarbee J-Slap'n'Fingered (J2) was used for bass. I also used SampleTank 2 Tambo, Congas, Brass and Organ and finally Carlos Eduardo Arellano' played an amazing guitar solo - through VKFX (!!). I added some VGEE Delay and Spring Reverb. Song was mastered through T-RackS." |

I used EQ and compression on the Scarbee J-Slap'n Fingered 1 (bridge Pickup solo) to give it that metallic bright bass sound that was so popular at that time. Enjoy the "Midnite" ride! |
